About Me

As soon as I could put letters together, I consumed books and read aloud to anyone who would listen. All I ever wanted was to "be a writer." It wasn't until very late in life that I accepted the obvious, that in order to be a writer, I needed to continue to write. And write. And write. And then edit until my brain was mush and I cursed my undying love of the written word.

My first novel, How to Kill a Lawyer, was inspired by true events in my life that were all-consuming and tragic at the time, and even twenty years later still make me cry.  After finishing my first draft, I was encouraged and inspired to keep at it. It is the first in a planned trilogy.
